Weiser River Animal Shelter and Rescue, established in January 2023, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing and temporarily sheltering animals in need throughout Washington County. Our mission is to provide abandoned, neglected, and homeless animals with the care they deserve—ranging from veterinary attention and vaccinations to nutritious food—while working tirelessly to connect them with loving forever homes. We envision a community where no animal is left behind, and every pet finds safety, compassion, and a chance to thrive.
